Picked up ALMOST all the parts needed for the z31 vented rear brake conversion.  should have grabbed everything the first time I saw it.  Missing HALF of the caliper on the passenger side and the soft line that comes right off of it.

Picked all that up for $40.  Got charged to two suspension control arms..... with calipers/rotors attached!  SCORE.

Why use the pathfinder (aka parts hauler) that gets 10mpg... when you can use the car that gets 22!

Just picked those up a few weeks ago.  33x10.50's.  Make wheelin heavy duty stuff seem like a trip to the mall!
Jeremy AJun 5, 2011, 1:00 am · #865

Nice!!   I have 32x11.50's on my Bronco,  by far one of the best looking off-road tires on the market right now in my opinion,  and they perform fantastically too like you said!  Awesome stuff man.

IggyEGuanaJun 5, 2011, 3:51 am · #866

Bought this from VegasS12 (Thanks a ton bro!)  Now it looks all turbo,  this is just a test fit,  it's eventually going to be repaired(dinged corners) repainted along with the rest of the car.

DjayS12Jun 5, 2011, 9:14 pm · #871

Missed mine a bit more today! Been over 100 days now that I've been away at sea... can't wait to be done with school and get started in the real world :O

I wonder if I miss working on it more than driving it...mhhm...

A six year old nephew that didn't listen to me tell him to stay out of my car repeatedly and the lovely 80s style natural selection non shift lock auto shifter ==== (sorry about my camera, it forgot how to focus)

and now it looks like, and is better than before, aside from the read, put some tension on the bucket adjustment so it doesn't shake like a crack head now....

We have a deck built on the front of our house, and we put benches on it.  luckily, the height of the bench was just above the grill and only took out the headlight cover.

Before you go talking about the e-brake, it's a long story, and I always set it, I was just in an annoyed state of mind and had to move my car really quick and forgot to pull it up.
IggyEGuanaJun 6, 2011, 12:15 am · #875

good fix. at least the white will easy to match. its slightly off white tho

e brake wouldnt have helped :P
most of the time s12 ebrakes dont work for shit anymore. my silver car rolled down a SLIGHT hill and bumped into the truck in front of it with the e brake pulled

silvertonJun 6, 2011, 12:31 am · #876

E brake on my car works really good.  in gear, I can give it light throttle and it just squats in place.

drummingpariahJun 6, 2011, 10:27 pm · #877

Rewired one of the headlights to the normal switch, now that I have normal stalk controls. Unfortunately, the normal stalk controls only control that one headlight for now, so I'm a padiddle.

drummingpariahJun 7, 2011, 11:26 am · #881

Drove down to pick up my replacement struts and came to a stop light with smoke puffing out of the hood.  Never an indicator of good things.

EightySix200SXJun 7, 2011, 4:56 pm · #885

cell phone talking to andrew lmfao! he liked the car though which was awesome but what wasnt awesome is he put "1986 nissan sentra rs-x" lmao

Colonel GustardJun 7, 2011, 4:57 pm · #886

lol. go to court and battle that the ticket was meant for someone else as your car isnt a nissan sentra rs-x

JayJun 7, 2011, 5:47 pm · #887

50 bucks is he was just going off stickers that are possibly on the back of the car (Silvia, not sentra, but could be mistaken).
To which, that angle of attack will most likely be nullified.

back on topic, troubleshooting why I don't have spark now after redoing the connections to my battery.

silvertonJun 9, 2011, 4:32 pm · #897

Do you have all the wires/fuses/relays/connections hooked up to the new terminals that were on the old terminals?  Might have to rub some of the paint off for it to make a good enough connection.

WonderingravenJun 9, 2011, 4:37 pm · #898

yep. they are just fine. I was monkeying around with the plug wires, these are funky compared to the other ones from the ca20.
I didn't think it was making a correct contact but. Then again I was out of fuel yesterday, gave it a 5Gallon of gas today, re put in the plugs and my bat was dead from me yesterday.

drummingpariahJun 9, 2011, 9:04 pm · #899

pulled the body wiring harness from the panda ca20e s12 to go into the black ca18et s12... ugh, what a massive pain.
