Today, at work was coilover day at the shop. So in light of that I started thinking a little bit about this. Ive installed at least 20 sets of coilovers on all different cars. most of them have been the same and look like radracers rear coilovers. the basic spring and perch setup with spanners.

all the sets I have installed that look like these seem to be like they are universal........in a way. Why is it that this cannot be adapted to fit the s12? Why has noone attempted to do so?

ya that would be it. radracers is a little different, he does not have that bottom mount in the rear, or so i noticed. that doesnt look to extremely difficult, so long as you have a welder and some time........ the fronts after looking at them last night for quite some time could be done very easily. the only problem that still exists is the camber correction. ok, I am done thinking for the meantime........back to waiting for SSC Lowering springs.
you should have the SSC springs soon.
they started shipping them out yesterday i think.

Yep that is what they said......I cannot wait. Hopefully it isnt as bad an install as I am imagining. Ive yet to lower a car older than 1988........ I dont know what manufacturers were thinking in the mid 80's
remember radracer had a solid rear axle.. mine is made for the irs.. and i can easily make you the plates that bolt to the rear arms if yuo needed them
