In the last couple of months my I've started to notice play on my sterring wheel and it feels like its getting worse. Any one can telll me how to get rid of it, would be greatly appreciated.

Could be bad steering rack bushings, or outer tie rod bushings. You can buy new outer tie rods and steering rack bushings.

My steering rack is going out and my s12 has alot of play too, so you might have the same problem I have......

Sounds like the rack is going out. Happened to my original one years back, and there was loads of play. Put the new rack in, and cured the problem.

Well my rack and pinion were replaced a few months ago, and I still have play. The only other thing that I can think of is the bushings, but which ones?

The ones I originally listed above.

if i remember right there is a small adjustment screw on the rack and pinion. its behind the main valve asembly, there will be two 12mm bolts holding a plate to the valve assembley. Between the two bolts is a 12mm nut that unlocks the adjustment screw the head of the screw is a 8mm i believe tighten it up only a little at a time one full turn and i can almost guarentie you that you will not be able to turn the wheels because it will be to tight. its easier to jack up the front of the car and take off the drivers side wheel. then make your adjustments small and check for tightness.
