Hey guys do any of you know where i might be able to source a R31 4.32:1 ring and pinion gear. Mine has a big chunk taken out of it. The previous owner swaped it in and I love the low end torque that it has.
Was there another car with the R200 that had this ratio?
im using a r31 lsd in mine at the moment, but its a 4.375:1 ratio, are you sure you got that right? our r31's are JDM ones, so they are probably different...
Nissan can get you ring and pinion sets. They have them for 240SX's at 4.08, 4.36, and 4.63 gearing. Although, I'm not sure why they list them only for the S13/14 240SX. Maybe the short nosed R200 use a different ring gear? Even though it lists the same exact dimensions in the Motorsport Catalog. The ring and pinion sets listed for the S12/Z31 only go up to 4.11.
well i guess i will ave to go to the dealler and see what i can get.
