So my transmission made a few strange noises today and I thought check the fluid level.

But low and behold there is no Dip stick to be found. nor can I find anywhere to add aditonal fluid to the damn thing .

well if youve got a manual transmission then i dont think there is one.. when i first got my SE it was my first car w/ a manual tranny and i thought i'd check the tranny fluid.,.. turns out it wasnt like my CA20E S12 (automatic) and it doesnt have a dipstick

now if yours is automatic and you cant find the dipstick then you might want to go on the hunt for out.. if youve got the CA20E, i believe it was behind the intake mani on the passenger side

You're going to have to put your car on a lift and check it from the transmission housing... there is a bolt... and just like the Oil Bolt take that off... don't be scared though cause nothing will come out. stick your finger in there and if the pan is low put more in until it reaches the bottem of the opening...
