Ready to order...but....

I'm ready to order:

Front 1979 - 1983 280ZX Suspension Technique Springs

Rear 1984 - 1988 300ZX Suspension Technique Springs

But....

I was just wondering, and I apoligize if its been answered before, but I've been searching though old posts and did not really get a good understanding of my question.

How much will these springs lower my front, and rear?

How badly does it affect the camber?

How good are the ST Springs?

Is there a cheaper place I can find springs shipped to CA than JCWhittney?

...i purchased both and so far installed the rears....it lowered the back one inch....i might sell the fronts because i doubt i'll get around to installing them.

We haven't actually got a straight answer on that yet. But part of the problem is that most of the time your stock springs are already sagging a little bit, so it's real hard to tell exactly how much you're lowering it. I've got a set on the way, and I'm a little worried about the front not being lowered enough. I've seen it on the V6 cars, and it looks great! But I'm sure it won't lower the 4 cylinder cars as much.

But most of what I've heard is about 1"-1.5".

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the springs a couple days ago from JC Whittney so they should be on the way. By the way, when you fill up your cart and then close your browser, a 10% off coupon automatically pops up. If anyone wants it can't find it, I'll post it up when I get home.

I'll also take pictures of my S12 before and after the spring install.

from what i gather you can also use 79-83 280 zx shocks up front and z31 rear shocks as well.

cant wait to see these before after pics as i have the same spring combo, but am waiting for more money to order the rest of the parts i need to take care of most of the suspension work in one big step :-P
