Sorry again.

my french is really not as good as i thought it was if i couldn't translate the entire thing:( since the questions alundra asked may help members out in the future, does anyone mind doing a quick & dirty translation of the french into english?

does that really read: "the s12 with a t25 would eat my (Mr.200's) s12 for breakfast"?

sorry about the double post.

Mr.200date not saved · #10

heh, sort of.

My 200 when it was working with the T2 and intercooler would have been no match for SSChung's T25 powered S12.

And yes, had we raced, he would have killed me. So I guess my turbo commit suicide to prevent me from getting embarassed.

But the gist of this page was just what he needs to do to upgrade to a T25.

He was concerned about how much modification he'd have to do, and asked about the differences one T25 to the next.

Oh yeah, and what upgrades he'd need. Standard stuff, just he needed it in French ;)

Sorry again for those question.

Ok, i'have allready see the link for volvo radiator swap, it's not very hard but in my country it's difficult to find one, perhaps i will put an intercooler from another brand.

Thanks for trim explain i got it ;)

What about the injector if for safely i put a better fuel pomp (from???), does at 1 bars they give correct fuel? Because i don't what drive poor.... sure motor broken later.

What about the oil pump? must be change for this mod?

oillines for t25 turbo fits on this motor, plug'n'play or must be custom?

P.S: it takes 7 minutes for write it in english not perfect, sorry

hopefully that and the stuff below makes sense to you

basically what Mr. 200 told alundra is all the basics. Mostly whether or or not an S13 T25 is a bolt on. some concern over some intake piping and flanges and the oil lines i think. That and about installing the venerable and infallible volvo intercooler.

Alundra can use the older SAAB intercooler in place of the Volvo unit, as they are setup up the same way behind the radiator, and look similar.

No, seulment the RS-X à un LSD...mais tu peut mettre the LSD qui est arriver avec the MKII 240 (91-93) de dans le R200 de ton S12.

alundradate not saved · #19

I have some problems:
the boost gauge doesn't work but turbo sound ok
braking is hard to push
a "clang" sound coming from the back when release the clutch, normal?
2nd gear hard to pass, why?, all other ok!
oil capacity? what caracteristics of oil do you use?

i find it but i lose the thread, in my LHD car, front of the passenger seat it seems there are some indicators incrusted the dashboard, what are they?

thanks

1. This is nothing big Usually the vacuum line to the boost sensor (for the guage) becomes cracked or bad and makes the gauge not work

2. Is the car hard to stop or is it just the pedal is very hard. If it's hard to stop the brake booster maybe bad

3. Not sure. trans mounts could be bad, u joints could be dried out

4. Synchronizers are worn out.

5. 3.8 qts. or ~3.6 L I personally use 15w-40 Mobil one synthetic.

some bad news...

i searched for the boost gauge work for find the problem but nothing do you have a picture of the system in order to resolve it? thanks

I don't have A/C can i have this photo "zoom out" to know where it is?

i'm a newbie, sorry but my the search function i searched a photo or picture of the place of the elements which are in the motor bay, don't find...

I find many picture of a "work manual book" of this car, where can i find this book? Can you have a link for download this? (not for hack or selling it, but to much know my car)

in front of the passenger side it seems there are some info of the car which can be seen,in the dashboard; how?

thanks a lot!

alundradate not saved · #28

What about the dashboard front of the passenger side???

a t25 is expensive here...

My project is to go to 160-170 Hp

What is the maximum boost for an t2?

The mod i choose:
manual boost controler+ used intercooler from an european brand + pipes and hoses + boost gauge + A/F gauge.

Any advise?

P.S: for a newbie it's very difficult to find some info to start to read the forum; i'm not critizing but saying that a better "guide" for noob will be better, for the next noob ;)
my ideas:upload the FAQ with photos (engines bays with zoomed photos with indications of engines parts), mods (step by step with photos), some links; i saw many photos from a manual repair book is it be see in full somewhere? where can i buy it? can we download somewere?

thanks a lot.
