My search about them was failed.
Sorry if it was asked.

Search for cheap ( i'm afraid about ebay system):
-turbo timer
-boost controller
-suspensions
-brake pads (working better than origin but not "eat" brake discs)
-clutch (working better than origin but not "eat" gear box)
-intercooler (i prefer use stock radiator because i think it's good)

Thanks.

P.S: i even search in "sales" ;)

TURBO TIMERS
Use any brand you lke, because no brands make an adapter harness for S12. You will have to custom wire in any turbo timer you choose to go with, but it shouldn't be that hard.

BOOST CONTROLLERS
Again, use any brand you want, because boost controllers aren't made for specific cars, they universal to all turbocars. Asking us to tell you which brand to use is a whole discussion by itself. Do some research on the internet, shop around, and get the one that you like best. Either manual or electronic, it's your choice.

SUSPENSION

Lowering Springs:
Suspension Techniques (linear)
King Springs (linear)
Eibach (progressive)
Tokico (progressive)

For front, use 79-83 280SX front springs.
For rear, use 84-88 300ZX rear springs.

Shocks/Struts:
Tokico Illumina (knob-adjustable)
For front, use 79-83 280SX front springs.

For rear, use 84-88 300ZX rear springs.

Tokico HP (non-adjustable) FRONT ONLY (280ZX)

BRAKES

(assuming the 280ZX fronts and 300ZX rear rule still applies...)

Pads:
Carbon-Kevlar Pads (Motorsport Auto), .450 friction coefficint, ceramic heat shield, NOT FOR STREET (meant for use at high temps only)

Rotors:
Motorsport Auto 280ZX slotted/drilled FRONTS (#24-5722)
Motorsport Auto 84-85 300ZX NA drilled FRONTS (#24-5740)
Motorsport Auto 84-85 300ZX NA slotted/drilled FRONTS (#24-5737)

Not sure about the rears, Call Motorsport Auto or email them. They are on the internet at http://www.zcarparts.com

CLUTCH

Clutch Masters will make you a clutch any way you want it for a good price. I won't use anything else. They ship worldwide.

Intercooler
If you leave the radiator alone, you might consider a Starion or Conquest intercooler, usually aroun $100-150 US on Ebay or from your local junkyard. Another popular medium ized intercooler is the turbo Chrysler/Dodge intercooler off of the 2.2/2.5 Turbocars. How you plan to do your piping will influence your choice of intercoolers.

Sorry Arro gonna have to correct you on the turbo timers. HKS does make a harness for the S12 I know because i'm using it along with an HKS timer. Very very easy to install just plug and play.

These pics are over a year old now and the timer has done just fine since then. I got all my stuff from Overboost.com but I think Nopi also carries the harness. The harness is plug and play the only thing you need to do is trim a little bit of the plastic on the new harness so make it fit. For some reason there are little plastic tabs inside the harness that make it not fit but just trim those off and it works like a charm.

actually ... this isn't a bad idea for a sticky

http://www.importperformanceparts.net

they have a lot of stuff I've been trying to get them to make for a while now, but no one seems interested :(

But they do have HP engine kits for us, copper gaskets, rebuild/rering kits ... and have decent prices on everything.

If you're ever dealing with a company, please mention the club, it helps a lot more than you know.

What about the exhaust system?

YankeeDrifterdate not saved · #12

No exhaust... need a custom one

Jsvob03date not saved · #13

I just stumbled upon this today. (sorta) I get a new PST (Performance Suspension Technology) Catalog for my Camaro every so often. PST specializes in muscle cars, but they do carry some import parts. FOR EXAMPLE: the 86 - 88 200sx has a Sway bar KIT available. There is ALOT of 300ZX, 2(40, 60, 80)Z 240Sx, and other nissan makes. They do Brakes, Suspension, Engines (no nissan listed YET), wheel spacers, weatherstripping, etc. Its 90% suspension stuff, but its reasonable in my eyes. Take a look for yourself! www.P-S-T.com
