Any body know if the injector wiring loom on these things have a habit of going bad? I have injectors that work, then don't work... then work again.

yes the connectors and wire corrode. best way to fix is 2 cut them off and replace with newer ones

You know who I am Mr.Frost... You gave me the car... Tee hee

I'm guessing that any injector ends off a Nissan product will work, right? There's no chance that the wiring could be bad further up is there?

Alex Frostdate not saved · #5

It is possible, but a lot less likely...other than those connectors, the only other ones are in the passenger compartment...so less chance for moisture there...If the wires look corroded it may be a good idea to replace them though... as far as caps go I have four for you here at home that should fit ;)...

wiggle the connectors on the injectors and see if they worsen/improve

Mr. Frost, you rock!!! how much wire is left on them?

Alex Frostdate not saved · #8

It is the whole injector harness...so a couple feet...8) I'll give your cell a call this afternoon...8)

Mr. Frost... You are a lovely man for droping off that wiring, unfortunately, they won't work with the injectors I have. So back I go to hunting down connectors... or else I'll just hard wire them into the harness :evillaug: So, on to other wonders...
