Yes, it's an S13. It's the same as your 89 200SX in the UK. We just got a 2.4L motor instead of the 2.0L Turbo, hence the name 240SX in the U.S.
yep, that's a USDM S13
240sx because it has a 2.4 litre ka24e motor. '91 - '94 = ka24de
everywhere else it had a 2litre or 1.8 litre and was called 200sx or silvia.
Although the some S13 240sx's i have seen in pics would be known as onevias elsewhere, the JDM 180sx has pop up headlights but the Silvia has fixed lights, since i think europe got the 200sx (why is it called that, as far as i have seen they only got the CA18DET motor). Anyways since the lights are from an early 240 which has the same bumper as a CA powered 180/200sx you should be ok to measure a euro one up. When the 180sx went to SR power they facelifted the rest of the car and changed the bumper, lights etc but i'm pretty sure only the japanese market got that car.
i call the 89-90 a "pignose" because of the air damn. this car came with the single overhead cam in the us and a ca18det everywhere else. 91-93 is my favorite because it looks smoother on the front as well as coming with the dohc ka motor or the sr20det redtop in the rest of the world!
The rest of the world being japan that is....yeah the later nose does look much better without the nostrils. Also just in case some of you didn't know the Silvia came in both Turbo (Kings or K's) and non turbo models (Queens and Jack's, Q's and J's). The J's is the lowest of the low, smaller wheels lower spec everything, basically a shopping trolley kinda like a AE85 compared to a AE86 GT Apex.
