I have been looking on the internet for months for a good CURRENT suspension book. Everything i have found so far deals with old stuff. i have checked amazon as well and all they offer are for muscle cars and stuff.

competition car suspension; Staniforth

Race car vehicle dynamics; Milliken (very technical deals with tyre behaviour and aerodynamics as well)

and most of the books by Carol Smith (although these are mainly talking about open wheelers and racing preparation in general)

personally for a good practical book that isn't impossible to understand but isn't too basic i'd recommend staniforth's competition car suspension

hope this helps

"High Performance Handeling Handbook" by Don Alexander. This is the best reading I've ever done on a car (other than this site ;-) ) It explains all of what parts do, contact patches... and makes it VERY interesting
