can anyone tell me if id be able to swap the engine out of an S12 ZX Turbo and replace it with a later model 200sx (ie 1991 model) engine?If so,are there any major modifications needed to make it fit?

Actually he is in Europe so a 1991 200sx over there is a CA18DET powered S13 so that would work.

Yes it will you need tho to swap the throttal body to the other end of the intake system and get the RWD exhaust manifold but other then that and some custom rad hoses it can be made to work

yes a 200sx s13 engine (ca18det) will go straight in. it will marry up to engine mountains and gear box
you will need to use the s13`s ECU and loom, this will need modding to fit in to standard s12 wiring
you will need to intercool
exhaust may need modding to marry up to s13 downpipe
starter motor maybe different
