hey guys not to long ago i bought a 1st gen eclipse turbo side mount ic and i have two places of thought where to put it, on the bottom front of the radiator driver side(us model)...or behind of the actual grill....which would have better air flow going through it? also One Mooore Thing!! i need to know what type, width, and length(nothing fancy) of piping i need? sorry for all the questions but i really need to get this project done...any info would be a great help...thx!

dont go less than 2 inch diameter piping, but anything bigger will cause more lag. 2 inch is the way to go.

my cooler piping is made from mild steel. Its cheap but its got a bit of weight to it and it will end up rusting in a few years. But my engine will blow way b4 that happens.

I actually had my "side mount" cooler hacked to make it fit like a normal fmic. Sits nice up front.
Not a too clear pic but you get the point.

B4 that i had the stock CADET cooler mounted in the right wheel well with a little scoop feeding air to it. Did the job well enuff during a track day!

Just some ideas to get you started.
