Ok so in the morning i leave for work then when i start my car it runs bad dosent idle idles like s crap andi ahve to idle it when it warms up it idles better
any ideas

It's most likely the idle up silanoid. Or it could be the fuel filter. When I changed my fuel filter the idle was back to 1 1/2 rpms at cold idle.

could be the car is just cold and needs to warm up.

give it a slight rev up to where it should be fast idle-ing, thats what i do then it sits there till its warm.

but there cars are 20years old!

yeah i thougth it might be the idle up thing(i cant spell) i read up on it and thast wat rases ur idle when the car is cold any way wondering if anybody else had this problem.

P.S How many people have a rought idle and a smooth factory idle

Rough idle here man. Has a mind of its own. It's fine some days and rough on others.

Try unplugging the water temp sensor, and see if it smoothes out. My ca18 idles perfect at 1200-1500 at cold start up. Then after about 45 seconds it instantly runs rough and the idle drops to 600 or so...after about 30 seconds it instantly clears up, and idles back up where it should. Only does it @ the first cold crank of the day. If I unplug the temp sensor it doesn't do it....but my temp sensor is brand new so I don't know.
It did it with my old motor, and continued when I put in the new motor with new sensors.
So I don't know where to start.........It just seems to be releated to the temp sensor somehow for me.

What Keith said. I have the exact same problem as he does and don't know what it could be but luckily it's only a problem on cold starts.
