i have a 87 s12 and i wanna get a ca18det and i was just wondering where to find one on the internet besides ebay. Also whats the parts i would need for a complete swap.

You can get ca18det's for 1500$ in calgary with everything, but I have seen people have problems when they dont know exactly what they are getting, so make sure.
I would consider selling my ca18det, fresh top end, timming belt, motor is clean as a whistle, has 60k, and it has some custom work done to it and 440cc skyline injectors and a mines ecu, and fresh plugs, etc. I'm in edmonton. But it would not be worth it for you cause I would sell it with the tranny, which you dont really need.
I've looked into putting the det tranny in, and it would require a lot of work, custom made bracket, chop the drive shaft, or do an internal swap probably cost about 500$
If you are serious about the swap, which you should be, because the us motors are trash compared to the det, I can find a motor ecu harness kit for you for probably around 1100$ canadian. Swap is very easy into a 240, I havent done my s12 swap yet but it should be easier.

so a motor ecu and harness for 1100? that would be tight man, i added u to my msn cuz im not far from u when im at my dads place in calgary. Get back to me and tell me some specs of this engine and add me to msn and we will talk it up, thanks man and thakns everyone
