hey i'm french and i have a S12 with a broken CA18ET
i wont to know if it's hard to swap with a CA18DET

It fits easy! Use same gearbox and engine mounts.

Engine mounts will be different, im pretty sure the same for the transmission.

Alright, I know for a fact the engine will bolt up to the stock tranny, so the mounts (and tranny) should be the same. Last I heard, the engine mounts are the same too...

Oh wait you did the CA18DET conversion no worries! :tongue:

I have a CA18DET installed in my car using STOCK.. thats right STOCK gearbox and engine mounts! My car was very well looked after so all the seals and mounts are still in good condition. If you use the stock mounts, remember to check if they are worn and about to fall apart!
