i want to upgrade my gazelles computer to the one from the u12 pintara(stanza) so i can chip it and control the ignition maps etc and hopefully make the car run better all round.
what would be needed for this 1) distributor 2) the hotwire maf 3) computer
what else?
i can come by these parts fairly cheaply and i want to get rid of the flapper maf before thinking about supercharging.....
uhm ... I'm not familiar with this swap exactly ...
But you might need the engine wiring harness as well.
If it's not a direct plug in for the ca20e harness.
You might need the injectors as well
well, the stanza uses the same silver top CA20E so the injectors should be the same as well right?

Heres what i was also thinking. i would find a wiring diagram, and swap the MAF to a good style, harness it into the stock harness, and then try running like that.
The turbo harness and ecu is a hotwire MAF. That's what I'm doing on mine, turbo harness and ecu with a Z31 MAF, 450cc DSM injectors, and an SAFC-2...
if i could get the wiring diagram foe the pintara/stanza could someone decifer it for me? just to let me know the dificulty of this swap, the stanza also came out stock with 7 hp more than the s12 and i can also get my hands on chips for the stanza ecu for $100.
Did anyone ever do this swap...?
