well 2 options.. one you should be able to use a aftermarket z31 short shifter or you can do the old and cheap way og just cutting the shifter by 2-3inches.. i know it this doesnt move the fulcrum point but it makes the throw quite smaller

If he's got the V6, then he also has the "C" tranny, which means he can buy any short throw shifter for a 240SX and it will work. :)
Yes, any 240sx short shifter like OBX or C shifter would work except the B&M shifter because that one replaces the shifter plate as well and the bolts won't line up. Even the stock 240sx short shifter offers much improvement over our S12 factory units!
yeah but i don't really like the stock shifter on the 240sx since its very hard to find first gear. My buddy has one and its the only gripe i have about his car.

i checked ebay and most al the obx units are going for about 60-80bucks
so....any short throw shifter for a 240SX will work except the B&M because i have the 88 SE(v6) correct? if so thats awesome!
