Does anyone else have an oil leak that seems to be coming from the two mating surfaces of the distributor base and the cylinder head? It is a very slow leak, but noticable.

I have changed the distributor gasket (o-ring) twice in the last 4 years, but it never seems to stop the leak. There is nothing else near the distributor base that has an oil passage, right?

i had the same problem.

Then after what seemed to be the distributor leak turned into the timing cover rubber gaskets leaking. make sure you trace the leak well so you dont keep wasting money.
