Club-S12 Decals are here!

Ok, so I know there's been interest for a Club-S12 decal, so here it is finally. Something we can all display and help us recognize other board members and help spread the word of the S12 phenomenon that is occuring on this board.

The decals measure about 4" x 2.75" inches and are designed to fit perfectly into the corner window of either a hatchback or a notchback. The lettering is all white with a Silvia "S" for the S12 portion.

The price for these decals is $6.00 cdn if you live in Canada, or $6.00 usd if you live in the United States, with all the postage covered by me. For elsewhere in the world, contact me and I'll find out what I can do for a price, but it should be close to the same.

the date of the mini meet WILL be October the 11th in correspondence with the Vancouver Drifter's Society's 7th drift event at boundary bay airport in Ladner, British Columbia, Canada. If directions are needed, or you would like to meet up before heading down that can all be arranged.

so contact me ASAP so we can get it all sorted out and have all the decals sent to me in time for this meet.

on a side note:
For those wanting to drive in the event, you will need to buy a yearly membership($100) as well as pay for the event($85). which is in total $185CDN. however, they do have events almost every month. there has been one event every month since July. If you want to join VDS and drive in this event, Contact me and I'll hook you up with the people you need to talk to.

I'm very eager to meet other S12 drivers, and hopefully we can get a better turn out than the East Coast Meet.

dan how flexible is the design? could there be a sticker with clear background with black lettering?

I'm pretty sure the background IS clear.

it's just that he can't show it in the image because then it would be all white and all you'd see is the "Silvia" S

The decals are meant to be applied to glass, so making the lettering in black would not be the best idea because visibility of black vinyl on glass would be close to nil.

Unless you wanted to apply the decal to a body panel somewhere, which then the black would make sense. But then it would be very difficult to remove down the road without scratching your paint. With the vinyl on glass, it's very quick and easy to remove if you ever choose to at some point.

just make your dad do it it so much quicker,, and unless you plan on using paypal alot theres really no need to sign up for it

I like it, except now after looking at it for a few days, I almost think it would look better if I got rid of the "Member", "Moderator" or "President" lettering and just have the Club-s12.org part instead. I think I might try that.

ok i got 2 questions..

1. do we get 2 stickers (one for each side)? or is the $6 just for one sticker?

2. do you apply these on the inside or outside of the window?

For $6, you get two decals, one for each side.

The decals are applied to the outside of the glass, because people with tinted windows wouldn't be able to use them otherwise.

Hmmm... I think I know what kind of material this is. I'll be ordering mine own set soon. I should have ordered them before HID (Hot Import Daze) so I can show off Club-S12. Anyways it's this Saterday.
