Ok, got a CA18det with an auto flywheel on it. Had an extra ca20 set laying around and said wtf, this will be quick. Errr No the ca20 flywheel is a 6 bolt design while the CA18DET is a 8 Bolt design. So, now im stuck for a second trying to recover a DET flywheel, but do YOU know if the CA18et flywheel will work? Anyone opened up this can of worms yet?

Call me today, i have errands to run and wont be back at the shop until late to night to jump online.

Ca18et flywheel is also 6 bolt won't fit. You should be able to use a CA18DE flywheel though as JUN and other companies list the aftermarket flywheels for the CA18DE as being the same as the DET. Not sure if the stock flywheels differ in weights between the turbo and non turbo but it should be of the same design.

Yeah, grab one off a 88-89 Pulsar NX with the CA18DE. I doubt there's any weight difference, but I can't say for sure...

Wasn't someone selling a lightened DET flywheel in our classifieds>?

well, it would be great if i could get that det flywheel, because the front drive flywheel...will not work

A: the clutch disc is smaller than the ca20

B: the spline on the clutch is smaller than the imput shaft on the ca20 trans..

C: what a waste of togos for the ca18 front drive set.

The flywheel will "bolt up" though. It just wont work.

Anyone wanna sell me a Flywheel??
