Does anyone have all the info on the engine? I just towed the car to my house and we put a battery in and try to crank her with my Silvia boosting it..
My uncle thinks he hears knock but whats to further diagnose everything but would like the total engine spec.
Is there any kind of FSM's for it or anything?
Yeah..........there are Nissan FSM's for each year. Check ebay, I see them on there all the time. I got mine from there and I just typed in "1984 200sx" in the ebay search and it popped up.......think I paid about $15 and it is complete, and was in mint condition.
Also Chilton, and a couple of others make them but arent as good.

You should check Ebay for the Chilton, got mine for around 10 with shipping a few months ago. And it was brand new still in the wrapper. It was the total care paper back that costs around 20 at the local autoparts store.
I would but the time it gets to my place it might be 2-4 weeks..and I would like to drive this before winter starts...and Im storing my Silvia in like 2 weeks :frown:
well off the top of your head i guess can anyone give me whatever they know..
the ticking is probably to much valve to rocker clearence.. just redo the gaps to .012inches and it will sounds better
