i was wondering my car is a ca20e and i want run run nitrous but dont want to blow my bottom end.. would i be able to swap the et bottom end into me non turbo for better strength?

yes you could do that, but you'll lose abit of power since the ca18 is 8.0cr and the ca20 is 8.5cr

Is there anything i could do to bump the compression ratio back up? or even run a higher than 8.5cr? the is the bore or the stroke the difference between the two? or is it both.... im trying to get some info together because i'm tryin to build a higher hp na motor... :evillaug:

Build the CA20 up. The CA18 has a smaller bore and stroke (83mm x 83.6) compared to the CA20 (84.5 x 88). Read my thread in the CA20 forum on what I'm doing with mine. I got some 4G63 big rods, which are good for about 500hp, and I'm using modified Wiseco Honda pistons. Let me know if you need some help, once I get mine figured out, if there's an interest, I could probably make a few kits...

But if you really want the 1.8 bottom end, you can mill the head down to get the compression ratio back up. Only problem is by doing this you effectively retard the cam timing, so you might have to advance the cam timing a few degrees to get it back...
