ok well i striped the hole for my o2 sensor tyaking out the old one i was wondering how bad or what is bad about not havng a o2 sensor

The o2 sensor should screw into a bung, which screws into the exhaust pipe. You can get a new bung from Nissan for under $10.
Here's one from this place for $7.70

P.S. How did you make out from the storm? I lived in Tampa for 4 years, and never saw one storm...damnit!

You definetly need an O2 sensor, bud. That's what tells the computer whether the car is running rich or lean.

Careful where you take your car in St. Pete and Tampa. Alot of "Gitter Done" (rednecks) type shops there. Only place where I could find a decent honest place was the dealer. It sucked, because I had to pay a little more, but they always fixed the problem the first time, and backed their work for 12 months.
Two good Nissan dealers there that I use to go to was Courtesy Nissan off of Dale Maubery near the stadium, and Nissan of Brandon on hwy 60 in Brandon. Theres one in St. Pete somewhere, but I never went to that one. As far as the 32mm socket just go buy one from Sears/Home Depot/Lowes, and use it then take it back for a refund and tell them you bought the wrong size. Or if you take the elbow out of the car you can remove the bung with a cresent wrench.

Not without knowing what the symptoms are.
The dealer will charge you usually 1 hr labor to diagnose the problem. I know Nissan of Brandon use to only charge by the half hr to diagnose....which was cool, because some of them will charge a full hr. when it only takes 10-15 minutes.
