Putting a POD FILTER etc where the battery is what i was thinkin of doin,
But im not too sure where to put me battery as i dont really want to put it in the hatch.
????

I would love to do it, so any ideas>? lol

It would increase response quite a bit because the air intake wouldnt be no where near as long! Also it would breathe better because of the pod etc...

go for it.. put it in the hatch and build a lil cover for it outta some thin plywood and fabric or somthin if you're worried about how it would look...

OK i would have to agree w bart on teh port and polish knowing the the exaust can be ported a shit load but i canot say much about the intake since i was too afraid to do that. Also you coudl also upgrade ur valve springs which should increase ur reves along w a cam man ur coudl get some serious power out of these heads.

Now if ur intrested in a intake all teh parts can be bought from autozone and a gread custome intake can be made chek out here adn see how i slaped the battery ont eh ohter side

Here is some info on the stock cylinder head and the gains you can make with it with very few dollars.

upgrade the ignition: $100, new NGK V-power/iridiums. wires, and coil. makes a nice difference, feels more direct, better response!

SHANE and SPEEDY_NISSAN-
did u get any noticable gains from this>?

And what about difference in weight transition? Cause the battery is on the left hand side after you switch them...
Did u find anything change in this regard>?

Cheers guyz,

I ordered a cone/pod filter yesterday, so i'll be installing that later. What did you do about those vacum lines? I thought those needed to stay in place?

Can our questions be answered?
