how much do they affect your 200sx handling?

A LOT.

By tuning with the sway bars, that's pretty much how we got our race car dialed in at the track since we couldn't run coilovers or adjustable suspension. We ran a stock CA20 rear bar and I think it was a Suspension Techniques front bar. It was a little bigger than the stocker... Worked good for us...

I agree. The upgraded swaybars I installed definitely changed the attitude of the car. I went with an Addco front swaybar 1 1/8", and a Suspension Techniques adjustable rear swaybar. I got both of them through my local Nissan dealerships via the Nissan Motorsports catalog.

Too many years ago to remember how much I paid. I know that the ST rear bar is quite a bit more than the Addco. Also, the ST bar comes with urethane bushings, whereas the Addco bar comes without bushings. I run rubber bushings up front to make the front bar act like a slightly softer bar. It seems to give a bit more traction that way.

I think we got our front bar for around $120-$130 with the urethane bushings, IIRC...
