Just wondering if anybody know's off hand what the combustion chamber size is on the CA20/CA18 head... Don't really feel like getting all the cc'ing stuff out today... If no one knows, that's alright, I'll try to cc my head on Monday...
Anyone know the cc's of a CA head?

crap i had got that info a while back but lost the papers i wrote it on but i know that it was stickied in the old forum but i cant access it
Awesome! Found it! Thanks! :guitar:
Head volume: 56
Man that gives me plenty of room to play with, I got 8.06:1, but that was guessing a gasket bore of 3.368 and thickness of .021... That means I can go ahead and put the piston at zero deck, mill a little off the head and get me to 9.0:1...
Thanks again!!! Saved me a little work for now... 8-)
Hmm, is this using the Mitsu crank, or is this just a stock ca20e?
ca20e crank, mitsu rods, wiseco pistons made for 4G63 with 4G64 stroker crank. Should put me about .020 in the hole as long as all my specs and calculations are right. If I go to zero deck and shave the head a little (down to 50cc's), that would put me at 9:1, but I'm still not sure on the gasket bore size and thickness because I'm still not sure what kind of gasket I'm gonna go with...
Damn ... that should be one stout-ass motor.
Holy Frankenstein Batman ... Joel you're my hero.
Ahh f*ck it ... I'm gonna put my Maxie in the S12 ... seems to be the only way I'll be faster than anyone on this site.
 Well, it'll be stout, we'll just have to wait and see if it's fast or not...
Mmmm. sounds even stronger then my engine. I envy someone....:headbang:
Well, the rods won't be as nice... :headbang:
But I really wanted to go with a good set of forged pistons...
oh the rods and pistons will be more then enough you will break the crank or the mains off before you get close to breaking the rods
no kidding.
