under the car near the rear u-joint where the 2 cables meet you can adjust the tension a tad might be enough

if you get under the car right in front of the rear diff you will see where the 2 parking break cables meet and the adjustment is there.. if you look you will understand what im trying to say

How do you remedy a seizing e-brake? Notice mine was stuck on after being in the garage for a month.

it depends if its the cables that seized or the mechanism on the rear caliper itself

My was seized within the cable itself.....I guess the cable and housing seized up somehow. I ended up getting new ones from Nissan.....both sides from the diff out to each wheel.

Yeah it's pretty common on these cars for the cables to freeze up with rust. I had to replace both of my rear cables as well. I tried to free one up by soaking it in parts cleaner but after pulling on it the cable just broke. So i recommend just buying new ones if they are rusted and won't move.

you can actually get them at schucks i got both cables for like 60-70bucks each

Figures.....when I got mine a few years ago in Florida none of the part stores could get them. Think I paid around $40-$50 each from Nissan

Im thinking mine has the mechanism seized not the cable it slef i can see the cables moving but it doesnt release the e brake.

I;ve got the same problem on my car, the cable bind where they go through the trailing arm. So I soaked them in Quik (the penetrating oil not the tasty drink) overnight and that freed them up. You can also adjust your tension right under the handle there is an adj nut on the cable, so just snug it up and it should do the trick unless your cable is badly stretched already
