How do you remove fuel pump?

Just wondering how to reomve the fuel pump a detailed list would be great!

lift the rear carpet from the trunk of the car and under there you will see a square metal cover with 4 screws in it.. remove it and under that you will have access to the 8bolts that hold the fuel pump in the tank

Allright so i have got that far how do i get the thing out? Dont wanna wreck anything getting it out.

you kinda have to pry it out theres really no way to damage the assembly from prying it out

Make sure to use a new seal and it's also a good idea to get some new plate screws from the dealer because they are aluminum and tend to strip easily.

Also it's a good idea to use some spray white lithinum grease on the seal because if you don't there is a good chance it will swell on you and not seal properly (happened to me).

not yet but i will be getting a walbro 190 or 250 shortly

I have recently fitted a bosch fuel pump in the existing fuel pump bracket. make sure the pick up is the same height as the original. To prevent any problems with runnig out of fuel before the gauges is on E.
