It's in Surrey near here in Vancouver! We have to do our own R&D and just order it. It's a bit pricey though.

Found a place that could make any size / rate springs you want
This thread was saved without dates. "Around Aug 2004" is estimated from neighbouring threads.
good STUFF!!!!
Hmmm anybody know the spring specs we should be shooting for? I guess we could use the Euro spec springs as a starting point.
screw that. Make a set that will lower the car a little. Add shocks into the package of upgrades and you suspension should be very nice afterwards.
hmm...not too far away from my place...
if you guys are serious about this and contact them about making a whole suspension setup lemme know. I'll let my car be the one to bite the dust for a while to be tinkered with.
If it works out to be around 300 USD for a package deal, count me in.
Indy, you can probably stop by at their shop and see what kind of group rates they can come up with/ how many people etc.?
If you guys try the group thing I'll be all over that like white on rice. My rear springs are wimpy, the whole car squats really bad when you floor it making the thing handle like a garbage scow. Let me know. Thanks.
yep for sure.
just tell me what "group buy"
just springs or suspension development or whatever.
it'll be around a week or so before i can go into the shop tho. i'm working during their store hours but my job is finished on the 21st.
They make just springs. I think we have to do R&D ourselves as far as spring rates and length. Maybe the ST springs are a good place to start in terms of length/ride height etc.? If we do a group buy, I might go for an inch lift and different spring rates as opposed to lowering springs.
well, post up spring rates you guys want and lengths and I'll go into the shop next next monday or something
I would like 400 lb/in. for the rear. I'm not sure what length yet though. I have to find out what the stock length is, and then do some calculations.
There was a sticky in the old forum/post with the spring spec. I also gave someone the critical measurements to someone back then. Now if someone please give me a link to the old post........
here's the one for the stock data.

No info for the 84 Rigid type suspension.
okay, looking at that...I'm thinking a good setup would be a 12" spring with a 250lbs/in rate for the rear.
why are the left and right for the fronts different?
adjust for the crown of the road? I :dontknow:
If stock length is 13.7" for the VG in the rear, then I'd be looking at a 400 lb/in. spring about 8.5 - 9.5" in length
I had a buddy that lowerd a car using this site drove well.

Not sure if it would work for are cars
how much did he pay for his set?
i called that company dendoff and they said that itcosts about 130$ to bring ur car in to get the measurements cause they have to custom make springs for our cars... and we could be loong at about $350 a pair so close to 800$ for the set of 4... thats alot of money!!! i know some people out there are willing to spend that much but i know some arent!
how much did he pay for his set?
You can do a online Qoute. Im not sure fairly reasonable price.
