hey can 16x7.0 wheels fit in our cars, or do we need spacers for the v6?, if it is diff. from the ca20 and ca18.

i want to get these http://www.seriousauto.com/rota_wheels/gt3/index.htm

if you can only get them in 40mm offset then yes

you'll need a 5mm - 8 mm spacer

but also longer wheen studs...only for the front, the rears will fit fine

I'm using a 17x8 setup on all 4 corners with a 40+ offset and the rears fit fine.

I have a set of wheels that fits a RS13, they are 15x8. What offset do they need to be to fit the car? and what tires could I use on those rims? ( I want as big tires as they can fit, for improved traction :) )

Indecisivedate not saved · #4

maybe around 25+ to 30+ offset??

I'm pretty sure you can easily fit 245/xx/15 on them

if you can find that tire width for 15s...

Hehe, Now thats wide...

I have 195/60 tires on it now, and it looks like shit with these good looking rims.
So il quickley reduce the tires to slicks and replace them, when I have assembled the engine.

I was thinking 225 for the front wheels and 235 for the rear wheels, with a nice 30-40mm lowering of the car first.

I wouldn't stagger them

if you lower the car you WILL want to rotate your tires.

we got some nasty negative camber issues at stock height...so when you lower it, it gets worse. keem 'em the same all around so you can rotate them easily.

oh yea..195's on 8" rims...that's really pushing it...i'm running 205s on mine and I think that's pushing it still...(I would've gotten 225 or 235 if I knew they were 8" when I got tires..I thot they were 7")

OOOKAY!!!! you people HAVE TO READ WHAT I'M TYPING!!!

it doens't matter really the diameter of the rim/tire and width of the rim/tire.

AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE RIGHT OFFSET YOU WON'T HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING.

that's why you dind't have to change anything. you got lucky and found a rim w/o an offset for a fwd car.

Yup the offset is what F**** us up, and if you stagger (wider at the back than front) make sure not to get directiona tires, because you will have to rotate them left to right...8)

I want the rims that akina posted up at the top, and I was wondering if I would have to put the same size spacers in mine, since mine is an 84 or is it different......:-?
