im new to the 200sx

hey everyone was up. i just recently purchased my 87 200sx. the car is very fun to drive, i love it. the only problem is that i dont know anything about them. I have been searching through this site for general information, like what motor my car came with, my cars stock horsepower, etc... I can't seem to find anything. I dont know if my car is turbo or not. Can someone tell me what motor i have.
also i am planning on working on my suspension soon, like dropping the car and gettin some nice rims on it. what suspension set-up does everyone here have. Im looking for a very nice drop so it will sit nice on some 15's.

now to get started.. please update your info with a location.. this club is global so its always good to know where people are located.. in your case it also helps to determine which car you have.. in you live in the US, then you either have the CA20E (2.0L 4 cylinder which puts out roughly 100hp) or you have the VG30E (3.0L V6 which puts out around 165hp),.. in the US the turbo's ended in '86 and made way for the V6,.. if you're in canada or europe you could possibly have the CA18ET which is the 1.8L Turbo 4 cylinder which puts out around 135hp i believe (one of the Turbo guys correct me if i'm wrong) and also if you're living in one of those countries then you wont have the VG30E unless someone imported it or swaped it in.. basically the easiest way to find out is post some pictures if you're got them.. or just pop the hood and see what the valve cover says,.. it'll either say if its turbo or v6.. if it doesnt say either of those you got the CA20E

The FJ20e was available in europe and japan but aus only got the CA20e powered model. The FJ20et was japan only. If you are in new zealand you get everything as if it were japan.
Australia only has the FJ20et models because people imported them.
The build plate will also say what engine you have.
