Does it work?, i've seen that the pistons valve clearence seats differ quite much. Does the valves of the 8valve head clear the 16v DET pistons????

Is anyone running 8V ET head on 16V DET bottom or on ET bottom with DET pistons???

I would imagine it could be done, since it will work the other way around, however it would be a shame to use such a poor head when the 16V one is so readily available.

Yeah you can do that. If you do that you will have a stronger spark considering the et head has a dual firing ignition, atleast thats what i was told. I plan on doing the bottom end swap sometime in the future since i have the et already.

No, coil-on-plug is better. The dual plug setup on the 18ET/20E is only used when the motor is still warming up and when running under 4k RPM, otherwise they just drop the secondary set.

I dont know because i had both coils go bad, first the exaust and it ran like crap up to 3k and then the intake a few monthes later and it ran the same way, shitty. We should ask bart or arro they should know.

The second plug is really only there for emissions, anyway. That's why in other countries, they only have one plug. I would agree that coil-on-plug is a better, more effecient design. Distributors suck.
