alright.. just got home, but when i made it about halfway back i started smelling that familiar smell of coolant, so whenever i came to a stop light there was white smoke coming out from under my hood and the temp gauge quickly rose.. luckily i was pretty close to home so i made it back alright

anyways, i need to know if there are any coolant lines on the bottom of the intake manifold, the area i'm talking about is right in between the oil filter and the starter (when looking from the passenger side),.. i'm almost fearing that it might be the headgasket too, but i really hope its not..

anyways, if anyone could let me know anything, i would appreciate it!

From what I've seen the TB is heated, but the cooling do not continue through the intake mani...

well, right in that location, i dont belioeve there is much, slightly to the left there is a HUGE like 7/8 nipple for hte heater hose. To the right, almost in the front there are a few conneftions. Get a mirror and a flashlight and try to pinpoint it.

alright.. it's cooled off a bit now so i could actually stick my hands down there, and it seems to me like there is a metal pip that runs along the bottom of the intake manifold that connects to another metal pipe with a short piece of rubber hose, and thats where it is leaking.. i'm going to try and take it off and see it thats it.. b/c i could see it spraying out from around there when i was just trying to fill up the radiator with water,.. i'll keep you guys posted

The hoses for the heater run under the intake manifold in that area.

well it did turn out to be that little short heater hose (the right part of #22),.. someone it had split right down the middle, anyways, i got out there, messed with it for a while and finally got that hose replaced

Glad to see you got that figure out, Hendrik. Damn what would we do without Club S12?

Just watch out and not get the pcv and heater hoses mixed up under there, some a hole did that on my car and now I have lots of water in the engine (Thought it had a blown head gasket)

Even more cars would be side lined without the club...and I bet more would be in the wreckers too.:(

Even more cars would be side lined without the club...and I bet more would be in the wreckers too.:(Is that good or bad about less cars in the wreckers. Its probably a good thing because its good to have these cars on the road, its bad if your looking for used parts. I would rather have problems finding parts then not see them on the road.

Were does hose 21 go to, and were does 20 goto?
