What NISSAN is it in?

Do all Nissans around the same age have the same computer setup,
S12 CA20E's dont have the lights on the computer, well mine doesnt,

I'll check up in my R31 Skyline Book...

are you sure it's 31?

I don't have any listing for a code 31 for the 200sx

im sure my nissan is 85, the engine is a CA20E and the code is 31 i dont know what "load signal" means, i´ll check the mass air flow meter, i´ll tell you what are the results
:burnout:

Load signal is what the ECU uses to determine when to fire all 8 spark plugs and when to fire only the 4 intake plugs. No load = all 8, Load = only 4

my air flow metter is ok and this is the code 12, if somebody wants the table codes for CA20 i can give it to you, i will make the test with the spark plugs

My R31 manual says code 31 is the load circuit. - You turn the fan off and on then off again and you should get a 44 (All is good). I dont know if this is bible - thats just what it says.

Ok, i will test this , but i have a problem, i bout my car 5 months ago and the fan is directly plugged (not in the computer), it has a switch from the battery to the fan, somebody know where is the pinout that comes out of the ECU to the relay of the fan? :pimp:

Ok, also check the connectors that lead to the TPS, I think they also control that code. 8)
