hey

has anyone done this? there is a racecar in australia that has had this done and it looks very clean.

just wondering if anyone has done it. would like pics and some info. i have some pics of the s12 race car but the angles are pretty tight so its hard to get a really good look into the details involved.

look at my web site and you will see how the S13 Silvia front bar lines up. I would suggest that you get a urethane front because the sides after were the front bolts to the fender flairs out by about 2" on each side.

that looks like a stock JDM S13 front bumper to me

i am currently making the mould for a S13 nismo bar to go onto a S12.

its in the other thread, pics will be evry soon (tomorrow arvo probably)

its easy to do the swap, and looks tuff at home on the S12

Hi. My apologies for re-surfacing this but i'm still confused and unless I'm missing something, Magnum your write up doesn't actually resolve the fitment process. You explain the difficulties you came across ie, the bumper support etc but not how you 'actually' overcame them. You also show pics of the bumper 'loosely fitted' held up by what looks like jacks? Did you 'actually' fit the bumper? How did it turn out? How did you shorten/reshape/replace the bumper support? Do the sides bolt to the S12 fr corner panels? I undersatand the S13 bumper is slightly longer in width, so how much did you shorten it by and how? straight down the middle?? I would really like to try this mod but am still unclear as to what is needed.
