hey guys, i'm attaching a pic of a tube that evidentally is for some type of fuel delivery but i don't know exactly what it is from or going to.
i circled the tube, its a little hard to see but i also used an arrow to point in the direction it went. at one time it DID have a old hose connecting that tube and another tube down under the fuel injectors. make sense? what tube is this for and i was told that i need to replace the old hose with a Neoprene hose to make sure that the gasoline that once flowed through it, doesn't eat away at the crappy rubber hose.
again, sorry for the quality of the pic.
Where does this tube lead to?

Nothing down there flows fuel through it.
From what you circled in the picture, it looks like you're pointing to the PCV hose, which runs from the intake manifold down to the oil seperator on the oil filter housing.
ditto dan that the part ouy need the thing is you will need to go to a dealer for this cause the hose has each end with a different diameter so just any tubing wont work.. i got one and it cost me like 9bucks
yeah i think that you're right about that because thats how the old hose looked inside. large in diameter on one end and small diameter on the other.
i attached a pic for reference.
I know here in Ca, you need to use that hose you were talking about. As the rubber hose gets weak at can collapse due to the oil, And a smog tech can fail you for using regular heater hose, it has to be the kind that is approved for oil and fuel. You could always use different diamater hoses and fit them together with clamps and see if you could get it to work that way, course, it would be better just to get the right hose.
yeah i think that i'll just get the appropriate hose.
Yeah.....just go to the dealer and order one for $9-10. I got a new one for mine a while back. While your at it you might as well order the other smaller dia. PCV hose thats on the intake mani in that same area but closer to the I.A.A. unit.....mine was cracked to hell, so I just ordered both. Think it was about the same price.
i hope that the dealer here doesnt act stupid or give me a hard time w/ finding this part. morons.
so let me get this straight.....its called a PCV valve or tube? thanks for the help. i need to find out soon, hopefully by friday if possible.
Here's the part numbers...........
The bigger hose that connects the pcv valve to the oil seperator down by the oil filter, part number....11828-17F01
The smaller squigly one that connects to the intake manifold by the I.A.A. unit is....11827-17F00
