Do the prothane Z31 subframe bushings fit without modifications or not?  I've read a few posts and it seems there is some disagreement and basically I am confused.  Also if I put lowering springs on my car can I still use the stock shocks or would I be better off with the fox body rear, MR2 front kyb shocks?  My aim is a budget repair/upgrade because my suspension is like that of a clapped out 74 eldorado!!  The lowering springs I'm looking at are eibach springs 1" front 1.5" rear.  Before I pull the trigger on these items I wanna know what kind of mess I'm getting into.  Thanks again for the input.

Yes, but you have to grind out the existing bushings. Also if I remember right, you can modify them for some rear wheel reduction with no added negative camber.

MMR sell a set of UHMW crossmember bushing for the S12. The description say that you can install them one way to raise the subframe, which will slightly reduce the negative camber for the same height.
