In one day, my mates and I took out the ca20E motor and replaced it with a ca18det, which I'd had for a couple of years gradually sorting it and making it look pretty. That was five months ago!!! and my wife is not well pleased because we have to share our other car. From then 'til now it's been wiring porridge. Recently I found a mobile auto electrician who's done a lot to sort it out and, as of today the last remaining problem is pin 110 which, according to a pic from this site, is supposed to provide the pulse for the injectors … (it's all about Spout and Pip he tells me) but Spout, or is it Pip(?), ain't showing up. So, its not happening. The ECU has been checked and is OK. Another I have, ditto. The elec guy says they have some minor in differences.
Does anyone have any clues?
