Fuel pump whin getting louder and louder... 10X worse the last 2 days

Fuel pump had been getting louder the last few weeks but in the last 2 days it has gotten ten times louder? WTF. It was so loud when i got home that my neighbor came outside to see what was going on and my mother asked me about it before i said anything when i got upstairs. Car has not lost any power, The tank was clean out when i bought the car along with Fuel pump replaced and with the fuel filter. Any ideas? wiring is good, relay is good going to check the pressure but that should still be fine if i have not had any power loss

I would say that an electric motor that is getting really loud is begging you to get a new one asap before it goes into a coma and dies.  Nice that it is giving you some warning. How much fuel is in your tank? If it's 1/2 full or more I would think the fuel would really dampen the noise, so if loud with fuel, more significant to me. I assume you checked to see that the pump is solid in it's tank mounting.

Yup. I went to Mopac where i bought it and showed them a vid and they said to come back on monday when Kevin is there. I was told that they have only had 1 return in 3 years and this might be another hahaha. 1/2 tank (was 3/4). Its really bad ill upload some vids

That's  so loud!  I bet it's even louder in person too,  because of the rain in the video.  Somethings not right,  I bet that guy will give you a new one.

hahaha it is louder then my exhaust and in the car it can be herd over my music if it is low

My Dad has old pill bottles, in which he drilled small holes into, that are filled with cotton swabs soaked in fox urine zip tied in all of the engine bays of his cars.  His 70+ year old mechanic suggested it after he noticed some chewed wires in one of the cars.  After searching around I think he found fox urine at Cabela's or Academy.

Too bad they didn't do right by you immediately. Nothing sucks more than poor customer service - well, maybe stupidity and ignorance suck just about as much, lol

I'm going to the oil patch for work. Been waiting to see if I got the job since November, applied two times.

Yeah it did suck but after I went back for the meeting today it was all straightened out and I have a new pump. I am just happy that they contacted me after the email and we were able to resolve the issue.
