Got a call from my Drive shaft shop and the R200 I got from a SE with gear ratio 3.9 ring and pinion are toast.
Do any of you geniuses happen to know were to buy some online (new prefered). I don't have the time to go to a yard and try to find another Diff too pull it from.
And also what gear ratio's would you guys recommend or prefer? As you all know im building a sr to be pushing close to 500+hp mark so im looking for the best to hold the Tq/power.
Any input would be appreciated. :D

R200 Longnose Ring and pinion Q's?
nissanpartszone.com seems to have one, but it's pretty pricey since its new OEM.

Best bet would probably be getting one from somebody on here.
Yea i seen that Not really willing to spend $500 on them :/
I thought you are going 1.5 way lsd?

The LSD is where the spiders were which connects to the ring gear then meshes with the pinion
Ohh, duh. technically need a new ring and pinions from any r200 then.
found a few on ebay even a 3.91 gear ratio.
Long nose r200s have a long pinion... Has to be for a long nose, so "any" won't work.

Exactly has to be for a longnose diff.
Hopefully i find one at the yards, I'm having no luck finding any online. New they want an arm and a leg for.
Also remember that subies have the same R-series diffs, and the STi along with the Legacy (I think) have the R200 longnose with better ratios and Stock LSDs.
Subaru only uses the R180 (at least on the WRX and outback), though the SVX may have had a R200.
My mistake, you're most definitely right.
Get one off somebody on here or the Z forums, or check car-part.com for a yard that has one near you.
