Car is running super rich, poor gas mileage. AGAIN.

As the title states:
I've had this car for over a year and it has never run 100%, I'm currently getting like 10mpgs out of it which sucks since it's my daily lol.

Only code that it's throwing is code 44, doesn't blink very fast while in Mode 2, and I'm just tired of throwing tune up parts on it since I got it. So I'm just gonna fix it and sell it.

How do I check if my ECU is fried? Everything on it has been installed in the past year. Any other ideas?

What kind of ECU? original or did you upgrade to a z31 as like I did?
have you tried to change to the msd ignition box yet?

Stock 5 speed ECU, and it has a brand new ignition coil.

Mine is running shit gas mileage. I am suspecting a few things as well, but I am also running the z31 ecu,
Drove 6 Miles and 1/4 of the gas is already gone.

What I mean is upgrade the http://z31performance.com/showthread.php?18665-Upgrade-to-PRW-2-Ign-Control-Module-(Power-Transistor-Unit)

It's possible you have a bad 02 sensor. Mode 2 is 02 monitoring right? Fuckin peg it. It should go full rich when pegged and full lean when you let off

It doesn't change when I'm on it and when I'm not. It blinks slow-ish all the time.

I got a new O2 I'll throw on today.

I think I might try that PRW-2 thing once I can afford to drive to the yards lol. This shit ate up a whole quarter tank in like 30 miles of city driving.

The new O2 helped heaps on the mileage, car is sold to my friend now he's getting like 22ish city. However the car still runs rich as fuck at idle, but I'm thinking that could be the maxed out automatic TPS I bought for it last year. Meh, it runs perfect under load so he isn't too bothered by it haha.
