are there supossed to be lights in the doors?

IV been wondering cause I think IV seen pics where there are lights behind the red "lense" covers that are on the door cards

My car have lights there. They lit up when one of the doors is open.

Mk1's have lights there. MK2's do not.

Ive had mk1s without them... I think its more of an option thing cause ive had a lot of base models and they dont have em. The one i had with sunroof power windows etc did have door lights

you sure they didn't have one? maybe the bulbs were burnt out. every mk1 I've seen has lights in the door.

Couldn't stand it, had to go out in the cold and rain to see - yes, mine light up too.

I have the original new car price tag in the car window from the Datsun dealership. And i'm pretty sure that was one of the things listed in my "Deluxe Package"
