Car dies after 2 minutes of run time

So, I started my S12 for the first time tonight, let it run for a whopping 2 minutes, and it died like the ignition was shut off. From what I understand is that it could potentially be the distributor module, but I was wondering if it could be the coils or something else? It has new NGK plugs and wires, and runs fine when it's running, obviously haha. The fuel pump primes after it suddenly dies, has compression, and it obviously not an issue with air. I'm doing a pick n pull run tomorrow for a turbo lip kit, so I'm wondering if there's other things that are worth grabbing.

haha, probably not the same thing but my friend had something like this happen after we finished working on it. Skipping the bs, our problem was the fuel pump wiring had gotten so corroded at the 2 plugs in the hatch area, the power wire fell off . After we cut the wires and installed a new connector we were good to go. 

Oh and if you have a factory alarm still, recommend uninstalling it.

Also, it is a vacuum advance dizzy, so IIRC, the module is in the bottom of the distributor? And could anyone clarify if a CA18ET would share the same one?

I don't know what is with me and Nissan ignition parts, but after the first fire up, it's ALWAYS an issue haha.

What year's your car? Still stock ca20? Vac dstributer has ignition module in the distributer, there's troubleshoot info on that in the fsm. Modules available on ebay and I believe rockauto.  have you done anything recently to the motor before it started acting up? Will it start right back up or does it have to sit for awhile?

Check your codes on your ecu and also check the cts cylinder head temp sensor connection the sensor may be bad or the connection may be bad

Oh son of a bitch. That's very unlucky.

Yeah, oh well though! It came with some mark II Poopra flares that I might modify to work, for now. I might see how I'm feeling about making a one off lip for it or modifying an existing common lip.

Also, to those who have bought off Rockauto, which PTU did you get? Any of them to stay away from? In most cases the cheaper is usually priced for a reason, obviously.

Grab one from the junkyard.  maxima's and TBI pathfinders use the same unit.  At least, AFAIK they do.

I'm not a VG30, CA20E. I couldn't find any other CA equipped cars.
