How to get big pictures on your signature

I see that alot of people have a picture of there car or a really cool s12 picture in their signature....i want to be special too :yes:

Its not hard at all. First, you already know how to put text in your sig, so the hardest part is done.

Next, just select the image you want, crop to an appropriate size (usually somewhere around 50-200px tall and 300-800 wide). Then you need a website to host the image on the internet for you. I prefer photobucket.com. You can register there for free and host plenty of pictures.

After you have uploaded the image to them, they will give you web addresses for the image. You need to copy the address for forums, it will begin and end with "IMG" in square brackets. Then just paste that text in your signature here. After you save it, you should see the image along with your text :)

Do remember to visit the tab labeled "Forum rules" to see the maximum allowable signature size.

For grins, the max signature size is 200x600 here.

That isnt quite right, that's the max size of an IMAGE in the signature. The max sig total size is this

My pic in my sig was within that spec when I first posted it and someone resized it it

Actually, it wasn't. Because that was me.

It was 624x243 (And the original still is), which is bigger than the 600x200 limit for the picture portion.

The WHOLE SIGNATURE can be 600x350, any PICTURE in the signature cannot be larger than 600x200. Just to clarify.

And, technically, Jay, you're breaking the rules. Your image is 204px height. Fix it.

Alright, let me try to explain. The 600x350 size, is for the ENTIRE signature, including picture and other text above/below the picture. The 600x200 size is for the picture itself.
