Hi everyone going to be purchasing a ca18et running t28 cosworth inter cooler etc . Wondering if buying a set of s13 injectors and possibly a walbrough or equivalent pump will help at all ?

not an expert but ca18et sucks lol maybe a walbro 190 at max and s13 injectors arent worth it cuz retro fitting and all, i think the datsun z series injectors fit though. again not sure

I ran a walbro 255 on mine with 450cc injectors from a eagle talon make sure you get an safc to tune with or you wont gain much if any power you should also get a fpr ( fuel pressure regulator) as well... Itll be fun once you get it dialed in....

well the injectors for a 1975 mercedes 450 sel are barb style like ours and are 420 or 440 cc and are a direct bolt in affair other than what sideways said about needing the safc and the fpr and pump.

I read that the na 280Z injectors are the same but the tip physically looks bigger.... Anyone have any input?

manny the tip size doesnt matter as long as the o'ring fits. if you have the manifold off you would see that the tip is centered in the o'ring which is then centered into the manifold.  i'm also not sure what size the na z injectors are, because if they are not bigger it doesnt actually help you out any for gaining horsepower. hope that helps a bit.

Sorry I meant the opening in the tip is bigger.
I'm using them now and they do work just curios if it was an upgrade.
Getting seriously frustrated with the lack of power in the ca-et

well if you want to wait a bit i am going to the dyno day on the 25th to finally get an official number whatever it happens to be.  i will pm you a list of all my mods and then i will post up a scan of my sheet.  ill also look into your build later today to see what you have.  and i would think the na z injectors are about the same or smaller as the z has more cylinders so it doesnt need as big of injectors and that the turbo one would be the ticket for bigger ones, though i would have to go find the thread on here to confirm.  oh and there is a thread i think in general about injector sizes and what they come from.

Yeah Arro posted it awhile back I agree with Jeremy about the na injectors from the z you would be better off if you could fine turbo injectors or got with the injectors from that Mercedes he mentioned....
