is there any way to put a stock  ka24e cam into my stock 88 ca20e motor without doing any kind of grinding or milling work?

a ca18et one but thats worse than the ca20. also if you can find a euro cam that would work too but your best bet is a regrind...

what exactly is a regrind and what will it do for my motor?

I know you didn't ask anything about an engine swap, but there is not much to do performance wise with the ca20e.. I will suggest that you keep the ca20e running and wait to afford a more potent swap.. ka24e or ka24de can be had for very cheap.

i know the 20e isnt worth the time and effort of moding but i was just wondering. i am gonna do a swap, just not a ka swap. thanx for the insight fellas.
