I just ordered bigger injectors (550) so I am upgrading the mass air flow sensor to the Z32, went to the salvage yard today, none of the Z32's still had their MAFs so the guy working there told me the Infiniti J30 used the same one. I got one from a 1995 J30. What is written below is printed on the MAF sticker. Is this what I want or do I need to return it?

Z32 J30 MAF ?
The one you want is the N62 with the Orange sticker.
Out of curiosity, how much power are you aiming for to need the upgrade to a z32 maf?
I have been told I should be in the area of 340 with the turbo I have, its an S15 Garrett T28. But I don't really know what to expect. It suck living in a small town with no knowledgeable local shop to bounce ideas off. I am just buying parts and when I have everything I think I could need I will load the car up and take it 3+ hours away to a shop that can tell me I have bought all the wrong stuff.
You can use any MAF you want, it just needs to be wired in and tuned but most people use the N62(300zx), or Q45 MAF. IIRC Jim Wolf Technology uses a Ford Lightning MAF.
340 sounds like a bit much on an s15 turbo, that's almost out of it's efficiency range. You'll have killer response and mid-range but it will start to drop off significantly on the top end unless you add some cams and maybe a port/polish IMO.
I_heart_VVL is correct. The N62, Q45, and ka24e maf's are the 3 that are most easily accessible though. You can always go standalone and don't use a maf at all.
I have seen one or two dyno charts of the s15 T28 on an s13 sr20det maxing out at 320 rwhp. That's the most I've ever seen and the motor was mildly built iirc.
Oh and about the small town thing...that's what the internet is for nowadays. You can be on a little island in the middle of the Pacific/Atlantic(take your pick) with internet connection and have so much information at your disposal. You just have to learn how to weed out the facts from the bs.
