I wanted to show the problem not just tell yous. the car runs fine when driven normally but once you accelerate hard it starts to stutter until you let go the gas and accelerate slow.

Acts like it might be a maf or the tps, check your resistance on both to find out which one it might be. Not 100% though.

yea i noticed my tank was full of crap when tried fixing the fuel pump because it was leaking gasoline from the top. once i fixed the leak problem it did it less but still has the same problem. guess i have to clean it out.

I had exactly the same issue, found out the dizzy cap rotor was shorting internally to the shaft. New cap and rotor from OEM solved that one.

Mine too - rotor shorting out thru the dizzy shaft just like Cajun's - was a bitch to figure out but could actually see some carbon tracking inside the rotor. Even if don't see anything, I would change it and see what happens - cheap fix and gives you a spare if no change. Apparently not an ucommon finding.

Stutter problem fixed. I changed spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, oil change, oil filter. I don't know witch fixed it but glad its running normal. haven't gotten the chance to drop the fuel tank and clean it out.
