will red top parts and head work on a black top block

If your talking s13 sr20s i dont see why not i believe the only difference is a larger 02 sensor on the blacktop and a slightly different ecu/harness on 96-98 ones.

yes. s13's are pretty much the same. wiring is different.

Its all the same black harness works on red harness all the same
